Unapologetically sexy, fiercely chic, bold and tastefully provocative—this is the Culte Femme woman, and none other than its founder and designer, Hindy Weber-Tantoco, embodies this essence more. Hindy herself is the epitome of the woman she designs for, and with ten years of fashion design mettle under her tiny belt, she's only going strong. Very strong.
Martinis at the Mandarin Oriental was packed last night with beautiful people, all well-wishers and enthusiasts of Hindy and her work. She is celebrating her tenth year in the Philippine fashion scene—a decade that has seen her designing for fashionable tots and the fashion-conscious woman and almost everything in between. From Kiddos to Culte Femme to U, from infant wear, womenswear, teen apparel to swim wear and even maternity wear, her fashion design curriculum vitae speaks only of the abundance of her talent and passion for clothing and beyond.
"I didn't want a fashion show; I just wanted a party to celebrate," enthused Hindy. With muses Nikki Luna, Kyla, Bea Tantoco, Mai Kaufman, Daphne Oseña-Paez, Anna Go-Chia, Rima Ostwani, Cesca Litton, and Stephanie Kienle, she welcomed her friends and family in Martinis to féte with her her ten successful years in the fashion business.
