The Row, Glorietta 5
Ensembles has carved itself a neat little spot in the arena of stylish yet affordable career wear since its inception in 1991. The brand has taken three steps forward since bringing Carmina Villaroel on board as an endorser.
First, their official website, http://www.ensembles.com.ph, is up and running and registering as a member gets you a nice 10% discount. Second, Together with it's sister labels, Freeway and Solo, Ensembles is now part of a multi-brand store concept called The Row, whose first outlet is located in Glorietta 5. Third, and this is sure to have you all excited, young designer Debbie Co has created a capsule collection that's in stores as we speak.
The powers that be at Elite Garments International seem very pleased with the tie-up seeing how well Debbie's design aesthetics mesh with Ensembles' hip approach to corporate wear. If you're familiar with her atelier along Jupiter st. in Bel-Air, Makati, you're certain to recognize the tailored lines, the play on texture, and the gently feminine vibe of her 24-piece collection for the brand.
One thing that's wonderful about the growing trend of local labels collaborating with Philippine designers is that it makes any and every woman's fashion aspirations that much easier to achieve. There's nothing like glowing in designer duds and it's thrilling to know you can afford to do it daily.
