While the lovely ladies clad in purple bathed in perfume at Valkyrie, Raffles Makati was blossoming in pink filled with beautiful, strong-willed women united for a cause. Made possible by a collaboration between breast cancer support network, ICanServe Foundation, and Marie France, an evening was dedicated to support the fight against breast cancer. Below, see what went down during this meaningful fund-raising event.
Breast cancer is treatable, ladies. It is a battle that women can definitely win against.
The evening started off with a mini auction hosted by Tessa Prieto Valdes who was dressed in a bouffant Rajo Laurel pink frock.
With the help of the generous guests who participated in the event, about a million pesos in total was raised during the auction to support ICanServe Foundation’s programs for breast cancer awareness and early detection.
After which, a fashion show was held to cap off the night, featuring local designers Rhett Eala, Rajo Laurel, Lulu Tan-Gan, Eric De Los Santos, Maureen Disini and Kristel Yulo.
Other than the svelte models who sashayed down the runway, cancer survivors and celebrity ambassadors alike also took center stage, including Dawn Zulueta, Maritoni Fernandez, and Agot Isidro.
