The Exact Sneakers David Licauco Wore for Hyrox Taiwan

Last March 1, David Licauco revisited his athletic roots by participating in Hyrox Taiwan, a fitness racing event with competitors from all over the globe. The Kapuso actor proved that his strength and endurance have not waned, emerging from the competition as the highest-ranking Filipino delegate!

Out of multiple players in his age range from the Philippines, David finished the intense circuit-style race in the shortest time, clocking in at one hour and seven minutes. FYI, the average time most competitors take to accomplish all eight rounds is one hour and thirty minutes!

For the competition, David made sure he was equipped with only the best gear. An essential component of his look was a hot pink version of the Puma x Hyrox Deviate Nitro 4 shoes. Specially designed for the race, these kicks feature nitrogen-injected foam that provides ample support while still staying light on the feet. Aside from their eye-catching colorway, the upper layer of these sneakers is also made of 20% recycled materials. Athletes can cop them for P10,500 a pair.

Hyrox tests one's physical prowess with rounds involving the Ski Erg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jump, Row Erg, Farmers Carry, Lunges, and Wall Balls. Each race is hosted in exhibition halls all over the world, yet the format and time limitations remain consistent, which leads to real-time leaderboard results and worldwide rankings. At the end of the season, any competitor can qualify for the World Championships.

The race is targeted for "Every Body" and is known as the first and only one of its kind. After his victorious run in Taiwan, David is planning to compete at the double division of Hyrox Hong Kong alongside fellow actor Vince Maristela. The two have been sharing clips of their training sessions online.
