Who wouldn't want to come home to a wonderfully perfumed living space? No one in their right mind, naturally, and most especially not these five entrepreneurial women: bag designer Emi Jorge, interior designer Trisha Calma, accessory designer Nicole Whisenhunt, restaurateur Camille Ongpauco, and stylish mom (and Preview Best Dressed alumna) Kai Lim, who are behind lifestyle concept boutique Cura V.

Cura V has just brought in Anthousa, a luxe label of home fragrance by Maria Christofilis. Actually, scratch home fragrance—Anthousa prefers "home ambiance concept," which has a rather fascinating history. "The concept of home ambiance was derived from a century-old technique which was used in restaurants throughout Italy. Restaurants would fill empty wine bottles with olive oil and fragrant herbs, using spaghetti sticks as diffusers. It was from this idea that the concept of home ambiance developed into an apothecary product for the home environment." Wonderful, isn't it?

The concept has since evolved into fragrance diffusers as we know them now: little sleek bottles of redolent liquids that waft up into the air via slim bamboo reeds. Anthousa's diffusers are hand-poured into custom glass containers reminiscent of vintage Italian apothecary bottles, and come in Demi (245 ml.) and Petite (100 ml.) sizes. Scent choices include Fig Leaf and Bitter Almond, Nectarine and Red Currant, Violet and Black Currant, Cucumber and Green Grass, Vanilla Grapefruit and Blood Orange, and Aqua Verbena.
