Louis Vuitton has finally put an end to fashion's biggest upheaval of the year when they confirmed (and named) Nicolas Ghesquière as their new artistic director. Being the successor of Marc Jacobs may be a hard task , but let's not forget that Ghesquière was also responsible for a handful of hits from his years with Balenciaga. It's true what some people say, that Jacobs cannot be replaced, because no replacement is necessary. Ghesquière will be doing his own thing, marrying his tasteful aesthetic with the brand's vision to spark something extremely exciting and new to the table. And with his known creative leadership, we cant wait to see how the French designer will be able to tweak the signature LVs and put this gen's women under his spell.
