Anthony Ramirez’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection was a play on electric pleats and flowy silhouettes. Dubbed as Cielo y Tierra, which translates to “sky and earth,” the designs were inspired by the textural flaws of silk chiffon. As the models, all sporting strong a cat eye, glossy nude lip, and edgy ‘dos, sashayed down the runway, the show was instantly dominated by a variation of deconstructed wrap dresses, off-the-shoulder pieces, and plunging necklines.
