There's always an extra dose of conscientious effort to the creative process when a woman designs for another woman. Such is the case with Chemena Kamali, who reimagined the cool girl for her latest Chloé collection.
Entitled The Devotion Collection, the French fashion house's Fall 2026 offering celebrated the process of creation. Ruminating on humanity and empathy, Chemena wanted to showcase the power of clothes to carry emotions and memory. “In a world that often feels mechanized and accelerated, I felt drawn back to the essence of making," said the creative director.

While the 55 looks all had elements of bohemian chic—a style that is synonymous with Chloé, several motifs punctuated the show. The usage of tulle and meticulous embroidery provided the expected fluidity and romance from the house, while the capes and blazers offered structure. Cutouts, prints, and ruffles also took centerstage on the runway, which was closed by supermodel Raquel Zimmermann.
Contributing to the overall triumph of the show were the styling, hair, and makeup. The accessories felt like heirlooms, which pushed the emotional narrative of the collection. In addition, the horse-shaped statement belt was a smart nod to 2026 being the Year of the Horse. Then, there was a folklore approach to the hair and makeup: Irish curls, braids, and clean, minimal makeup.
