With another royal wedding (and much-anticipated wedding dress!) coming up, we propose revisiting some of recent history's most gorgeous, highly-titled aisle-sweepers! Below, see what 20 of the chicest Her Highnesses and well-bred ladies chose to tie the knot in:

1. Tattooed forever in our minds, Grace Kelly's famous wedding gown by MGM Studios costumer Helen Rose, worn to her nuptials with Prince Rainier of Monaco, remains one of the most well-loved dresses in history.

2. Perhaps the dress that started our obsession with royal weddings, Princess Diana's unforgettable, meringue-like 1981 ivory silk-taffeta gown by David and Elizabeth Emanuel had a 25-foot train and was peppered with 10,000 pearls.

3. Pierre Casiraghi, son of Caroline, Princess of Hanover, married Beatrice Borromeo (yep, of the Italian aristocratic family) in three distinct ceremonies in 2015. For the second—and most formal!—she wore a custom Armani Privé frock, complete with two watteau pleated silk tulle streamers cascading from her shoulders.

10. Queen Elizabeth II also wore Norman Hartnell to marry Prince Philip in 1947! Fun fact: Because resources were scarce after World War II, she still had to purchase her gown's decadent material using ration coupons.
