For Fall/Winter 2015-2016, Chanel presented its RTW line headlined by model duo, Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner also known as CaKe.
Part of a parade of over 97 looks, they brought back the mod '60s with enough tweed to swaddle a whole country, see-through frocks, cap-toe mid-heel slingbacks, and headbands—something the Blair Waldorfs of the world can totally rock.
Karl Lagerfeld took it upon himself to show what he calls an idealized vision of the home of his beloved Chanel. He turned the Grand Palais into a brasserie, replete with red leather booths, a tended bar and edible croissants and coffee. (The bar staff were just as satisfying.)
As we look forward to our own Fashion Week in a week’s time, we wonder if there will ever come a time when our local talents will have a shot at showing such a presentation. Meanwhile, dream the dream with this snippet:
