We imagined the bedroom of actress, painter and makeup artist Solenn Heussaff to be like a scene from Katy Perry's The One That Got Away video. An artist's den, strewn with paint tubes and easels, the dresser filled with mounds of makeup not for vanity but for fun and a bit of prosthetics.
But in fact it’s the complete opposite.
While other artists’ bedroom and workspace are one and the same, Solenn likes to keep hers neat with no trace of paint splatter. In it she keeps her twin-sized bed, a furry rug, her rolling makeup case with a matching makeup artist's chair, plus a few pillow chairs (she likes to sit close to the floor).
Even her bathroom (which she shares with her sister's adjoint room) is kept almost bare. We do spot that weighing scale, a giveaway that it's our fitspiration's lavatory after all.
Solenn is a no-fuss, carefree kind of woman and her room is a reflection of that.
