The noble bug has bitten many of Hollywood's glamorous denizens and they're showing their support in living color! Angelina Jolie, Bono, Natalie Portman, Drew Barrymore , and Oprah are just some of the growing number of big-name celebrities who have used their famous faces to aid a special cause.

Last February 6, 2008, Gucci and Madonna hosted a fund-raising event: A Night to Benefit Malawi and UNICEF at the North Lawn of the United Nations. It was an evening of unwavering commitment to the fight against AIDS and to bring an end to the poverty endured by Malawi. Gucci and Madonna both have been pursuing interests on behalf of HIV/AIDS victims in Africa in response to the global call to fight the fatal pandemic.

The sold-out event was co-chaired by Gucci's Creative Director, Frida Giannini, Madonna, and a number of notable celebrities who were brought together for one purpose: to help raise funds and awareness for children affected and made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. The event successfully raised approximately $5.5 million from tickets sales and a live auction. All proceeds will be given to the US Fund for UNICEF and Raising Malawi.

Renowned guests lined on the black—not red!—carpet that lead them to the various activities including an exhibit by documentary photographer Kristen Ashburn, a live auction, performances by Rihanna, Timbaland, Keri Hilson, Nelly Furtado, Alicia Keys and the African Children's Choir and a bash after.

We're all about celebrities supporting causes but we're also eyeing the ones sporting the most stylish outfits in this star-studded event!
