Catriona Gray was all dressed and ready to impress her favorite R&B singer Ne-Yo at the Araneta Coliseum last January 23! The self-proclaimed fan girl was even called onto the stage to be serenaded by the Grammy-winning artist. And to her fans' delight, the former Miss Universe did her signature lava walk as Ne-Yo sang to her.
FYI, this wasn’t the first time Catriona and Ne-Yo shared the stage. Back in December 2018, Ne-Yo performed his hit song "Miss Independent"' at the Miss Universe pageant walking arm-in-arm with then-pageant-hopeful Catriona. This has been etched in time as one of the most historic Miss Universe moments for Filipino pageant fans. The moment was made even more special as Catriona was hailed Miss Universe 2018 that same night.
Last night, however, instead of wearing her award-winning Mayon Gown by Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang, she recreated the iconic moment in a red and black outfit styled by Justine Aliman. Get a closer look at her 'fit below!

Just like any fan girl would, Catriona decided to dress to the nines for Ne-Yo's concert. Swathed in a sultry black lace ensemble paired with thigh-high red boots, she was a star in her own right at the stage. FYI, Ne-Yo didn't recognize the beauty queen at first glance, so this moment was totally unscripted, albeit he recognized Catriona immediately as she introduced herself!

Of course, the crowd went wild. Even the former Miss Universe queen couldn’t hide her excitement, tweeting how happy she was to be able to reunite with Ne-Yo on stage, calling it the "best night ever."
