Fresh from Singapore, Catriona Gray jetsetted to Bangkok, Thailand for a Miss Universe engagement. She took the city—where she was crowned Miss Universe 2018—by storm yet again as she attended the Miss Universe Extravaganza, presented by the new owner of the prestigious beauty pageant, the JKN Global Group PCL.
As part of the event’s festivities, Catriona, along with five other Miss Universe winners around the world, took part in a private gala dinner held at the World Ballroom of the Centara Grand at Central World Hotel. Naturally, the 28-year-old beauty was nothing short of stunning in a black evening gown.

In true Catriona fashion, a fancy evening look of hers usually consists of a gown made by a homegrown Filipino designer. Such was the case of her gala ensemble, with her figure-hugging evening gown made by Manny Halasan. Known for his intricate jewelry creations, the designer combined Catriona’s accessories and dress into one by embellishing the top part of her off-shoulder ensemble with an array of sparkling clear gemstones.
To punctuate her look even further, stylists Justine Aliman and Patrick Henry added a minimalist bejeweled headpiece resting against Cat’s forehead.
As for her beauty look, the multi-hyphenate actually did her own makeup look again for the occasion! With a little help from her go-to makeup artist Jelly Eugenio, Catriona was able to flawlessly execute a smokey cat-eye and nude lip combo. Her long and straight locks were all thanks to Thai hairstylist, Alexandul Wankhwan.
