As someone who’d been in the fashion industry for 12 years, celebrity stylist Cath Sobrevega had explored different business ventures throughout her tenure. She’s the owner of the jewelry store Namì jewelry, Barò Label, “00” Pizza, and most recently has ventured into her own bridal wear line. It seemed like the natural course to take given that Cath has been styling weddings and pre-nuptials before founding Isle.
Together with tailoring-expert Carin Aguas, the duo conceptualized Isle—a bridal and luxury separates brand which just launched its first collection called Simula, and is there any name more fitting than that? A Filipino word that means origin or beginning, the Simula collection is a symbol of springing to life the start of a new journey with someone we love, which is essentially what weddings are all about!
The brand is deeply rooted in the Filipino culture's vibrancy and diversity as evidenced in each piece of its collection. We couldn’t help but swoon over all the delicate pieces after seeing their dreamy photos on Instagram. Their first collection consists of six gorgeous designs that each have their own uniqueness about them and all their pieces can be tailor-made to the individual's preferences to hold true that each garment is their own personal story.

We’re sure that every girl has daydreamed about their wedding once and most importantly given thought to what their wedding dress will look like. While a wedding dress is typically worn just once on your special day, Isle aims to reimagine wedding garments and embody them in memory of such an important milestone of a woman’s life. A customer's story is what the brand wants to reflect in each of its designs while also valuing high-quality and locally sourced materials. Keeping it fun and community-centered with long-lasting pieces that can be worn more than once is what makes Isle so timeless and enduring.

The Catherine is a modified A-line gown made with hand-beaded and hand-drawn embroidery.

This two-piece Emilia set is a free-hand beaded rhinestones and glass beads top coupled with a bouncy duchess silk ball skirt.

The Lolita is a stunning halter style and low-back gown fully embellished with hand-sewn pearls.

A ball gown-esque design is the Isabel with its semi-sweetheart neckline with layers of soft tulle and organza, sewn with floral appliqués and beads.

The Nina has a semi-sweetheart neckline with a fitted bodice with a full slit at the side for a sultry touch.

Their last design which is the Connie features a cut-out neckline with a corset bodice and tulip skirt detail.

We’re looking forward to future collections of Isle, Cath, and Carin!
