It was only a few days ago that Camille Co giddily hit New York Fashion Week for the very first time, making her adventure thrice as fun because we had a blast following her rookie adventures in the Big Apple, too! After eagerly soaking up the latest clip she vlogged, here are three important things we learned about jetting over for NYFW. Jetlag be damned!
1. Sometimes, it's better to overpack.
...lest you run out of things to style brand-sent samples with, that is. You never know what they're going to send your way! "I was just telling Laureen [Uy] that this is my first time to actually pack with options...I [usually] bring just [enough]...I can't believe for the first time I'm actually wishing that I brought more stuff," Camille admitted, then proceeding to borrow an oversized black hoodie from photographer Marts Romero to complete her look. Hacks.
2. You're probably going to need an extra hand.
In Camille's case, she was lucky enough to have only the best assistant around—her husband, Joni Koro. Watch the whole video and spot him holding her umbrella, patiently waiting outside shows, and struggling to help her zip up a too-small pair of tiger-striped leather trousers. He even filmed bits of his own little helper vlog!
3. The weather waits for no outfit.
A gauzy floral frock smack dab in the dead middle of winter? It's bound to happen, especially because most labels present their Spring-Summer collections during freezin' February.
