Camille Co will soon be getting hitched to long time beau, Joni Koro. Being Chinese, Camille decided to put together a tinghun or Chinese engagement party since their "wedding is already so far from what my parents are used to," Camille tells Preview. And so, she "figured that the least [she] could do is to make them really happy with [their] tinghun."

For the event, Camille was careful to choose traditional and auspicious colors. So, with the help of expert tinghun event planner Tris with Love, Camille and Joni took red and gold as their main color scheme for the event. "I knew I wanted red as the overall color of our decor so it was a natural choice for me to go for a gold dress," Camille shares. She wanted the look to be conservative yet modern, and "definitely not a long gown," because she says that she needed to walk backwards as part of the ceremony, too. And admitting she's a clumsy gal, a long gown just seemed like a disaster waiting to happen so she opted for a knee-length dress instead.

The bride-to-be wore the last CoExist gown ever made because she was already sure she wouldn't be wearing her own design for her wedding day. "This is the closest I can get to wearing my own design on my big day, without all the pressure and stress," she divulges.

Camille also says, "[she] didn't have much time to really sit down and plan [her] tinghun." With everything finalized at the last minute, she playfully shares, "who better to pull off a last minute dress for myself than myself?"
