Tech giant, Apple, recently announced that Angela Ahrendts, Burberry's CEO for the past seven years will be taking over the company's vacant Senior Vice President position. Ahrendts is known for utilizing technological innovations such as streaming their live Fashion Shows and using Twitter to reach a broader market, thus, leading the company to the digital age. After Apple's Steve Jobs loss, the company has been lacking in buzz-worthy innovation and creativity concepts that they strongly need to not only get back, but also to stay on top of the business. With the experience and smarts of Angela Ahrendts, who will be taking over their signature brick-and-mortar shops and online store, Apple is confident that she will be a key to the brand's further evolution.
