Breaking Up With Style.Com

Breaking Up With Style.Com It's gone!

In 1999, a new website covered Donatella Versace’s Versus show at New York Fashion Week. Style.com, a site that gives anyone who has internet connection, access to all the latest happenings in fashion on and off the runways was born. With Tim Blanks at the helm of it serving us not only runway coverage, but also front row, backstage, street style, trend reports and well, everything in between. The site became a daily habit, as constant as coffee to our every morning.

And now after 16 years, the site is bowing out to make way for an e-commerce play. Now whenever we type the sacred words style.com on our address bar, we are automatically redirected to Vogue Runway—the new online fashion authority from here on out.

Here’s a sneak peek at what to expect from the promising new source.
