Did You Know? BLACKPINK Lisa’s Coachella Outfit Took Over 500 Hours to Make

Last April 17, closing out Day 1 of Coachella 2026 Weekend 2, Italian-American DJ Anyma surprised the crowd with a special appearance by BLACKPINK’s Lisa. The duo performed their collab track “Bad Angel,” released just days ahead of the festival.

For his main stage set, Anyma staged a futuristic, larger-than-life spectacle. Titled “ÆDEN,” the electronic music producer mounted an immersive audio-visual experience, fusing melodic techno with expansive CGI, robotic elements, and live digital performance. The show was an extension of his “Genesys” cybernetic opera narrative, conceived to merge human performance with artificial intelligence.

Perfectly aligned with the concept, Lisa emerged on stage clad in an otherworldly ensemble by Dutch couturier Iris Van Herpen.

Styled by her longtime stylist Nan Nist, the custom look featured a laser-cut, exoskeletal bustier paired with an iridescent silk organdy train.

Christened the “Omen” gown, the piece is crafted from metallic-coated leatherette, precisely laser-cut and intricately looped before being hand-stitched onto sheer, skin-like tulle to form its sculptural bodice.

In an Instagram post, the Iris Van Herpen team revealed that the meticulously executed design took over 500 hours to complete—equivalent to nearly 20 days' work.

Constructed by a team of seven artisans, the gown’s been described as a creation “where computational design converges with artisanal craftsmanship.” Indeed, executing such exacting laser work on delicate materials demands rigorous precision and an acute attention to measurement.
