BLACKPINK's Jisoo Is Salomon's Newest Global Brand Ambassador

The partnership strengthens the French brand’s thrust of marrying the great outdoors with high fashion and celebrates Salomon’s ever-evolving identity, from mountain culture to modern streetwear.

K-pop isn’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind when you think of outdoor sports, but Jisoo, a fashion icon and pop star, surprisingly makes it work. She grew up close to the mountains in South Korea, which cultivated her deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors.

As such, lending Salomon her influential name was a no-brainer for Jisoo. She explains, “Spending time outside continues to bring me a sense of freedom and grounding. What I value in Salomon is the balance between functionality, movement, and style. From the beginning, the partnership felt natural to me because it aligns with how I live and move in everyday life.”

Salomon’s Global VP of Product & Experience, Kristof Cavazzana, echoed this by explaining why Jisoo is the perfect fit for Salomon.
