2013 marks the 10th year of BlackBerry here in the Philippines, and to celebrate, they chose to share the joy by bringing good news to all BB users out there. The long-awaited all touch smartphone, the Blackberry Z10, is now available on our shores.
The re-developed platform promises to create a unique mobile experience designed to keep us moving and to help us keep up with our fast-paced world. Some of its features include a 1.5GHz dual core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and an expandable memory card slot that supports up to 64GB cards.
Highlights of the phone are the keyboard, time shift and story maker features. The smart keyboard understands and adapts by learning and storing often-used words, and eventually offers these words up when texting so all you have to do is to swipe it up to the message; the aspect cuts off typing time, allowing the user to text faster and more accurately. Nifty stuff.
The Time Shift feature is a camera quality that lets you capture a perfect group shot. The technology captures milliseconds before and after your photo allowing you to move backwards and forwards in time, eliminating the problem of sudden blinks during group photos!
Equally exciting is the Story Maker that makes anyone feel like a pro at making HD movies. Its main use is to easily—keyword: easy—bring a collection of photos and videos together along with music and effects, all on your phone.
Available in white and black, the smartphone is elegantly chic on the outside and smart on the inside (just like all you Style Bible readers!). With all these new features plus a faster browser, the popular BBM still intact, and a lot more, the BlackBerry 10 was definitely worth the wait.
