The 2021 Binibining Pilipinas pageant was a night to remember. Not only did each and every queen look stunning—the Q&A portion was lauded for covering an empowering, substantial range of topics, and Catriona Gray and Nicole Cordoves stole the show with their highly-applauded hosting!
Another highlight of the evening? The farewell walks of the lovely 2019 queens. Given that the 2020 pageant was postponed due to the pandemic, last night was a glamorous, year-late reunion for the six titleholders! They finally got to grace the screen as presenters, take their final walks, and crown their respective successors, all the while bedecked in the most decadent, intricate gowns! Take a look:
Each beauty queen wore two gowns over the course of the competition. Here, they're pictured in their initial frocks, which they wore for the majority of the evening.
Starting off from the left: Patch Magtanong wore a bright cyan sheer gown with beaded feather-shaped embellishments. Aya Abesamis was a vision in a deep salmon gown with a diagonal fringe sash, while Emma Tiglao wore an asymetrical sequined dress with a high slit and sultry cutouts by Louis Pangilinan. Paolo Blanco was the designer of choice for Leren Bautista, who wore a mesmerizing ocean blue dress that was reminiscent of mermaids both in silhouette and neckline. Samantha Bernardo wore a liquid silver gown paired with sparkly fishnet tights, while Gazini Ganados donned a yellow floral gown that was a twin to her farewell walk dress, save for the heart-shaped cutout.
