Being a jet-setter goes hand in hand with being a global sensation. As such, travel OOTDs have become something fans look forward to seeing from their favorite artists. Maloi Ricalde of BINI certainly delivers in this regard.

The P-pop girl group recently made their way to Melbourne, Australia to serenade fans and perform their viral dances. During some time offstage, Maloi explored the city in a corporate-casual look featuring playful yet timeless silhouettes and a classic color palette. The pièce de résistance was her arm candy: a designer bag from the early 2000s.

BINI Maloi Steps Out with a Gold Loewe Amazona

Maloi donned a single-breasted top featuring an asymmetrical collar and a column of buttons that created a ruched effect. To add a casual twist to the corporate-leaning piece, she paired it with bootcut jeans in classic blue denim.

Burgundy velvet heels added a playful pop of color. The MM6 Maison Margiela slip-ons featured a modified square toe adorned with a bow accent at the vamp. An elasticized strap kept the shoes secure, finished with the contemporary luxury brand’s signature numerical logo.

Complementing the cordovan red was a metallic gold Loewe handbag—from the early 2000s, no less. The Amazona was crafted from leather and featured dual rolled top handles, an embossed clochette, and a stitched Anagram logo at the front. Gold-tone hardware complemented the metallic finish, while a hanging padlock added more character to the piece.

For the uninitiated, Loewe’s Amazona was launched in 1975 as a symbol of female independence and women’s changing roles in society. Designed with the modern working woman in mind, the bag became an emblem of freedom—making it an apt choice for Maloi’s corporate-casual look.

She finished off her OOTD with a mix of dainty and structured accessories, with her Gentle Monster specs standing out for their gem embellishments at the hinges.
