Billy Crawford Reps Filipino Fashion at the French Promotions for "Forgotten Island"

Billy Crawford has been making the rounds in France ahead of Forgotten Island’s October 21 theatrical release, turning to homegrown designers for his press-tour looks. The actor-singer voices Bungi in the French version of the animated film, a character voiced by Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Jacinto in the English-language version.

From streetwear to tailored separates, Billy has been bringing a distinctly Filipino designer lineup to his appearances, including pieces from Human x Proudrace and Neric Beltran.

During a television interview, Billy spotlighted local streetwear in an outfit from the newly launched Human x Proudrace collaboration. He paired the Gettin’ Lucky In Manila City ringer tee with a black-and-white paisley neckerchief.

The exact pieces he wore, along with other items from the collaboration, are available through Human’s e-commerce platforms and at select stores.

For another round of press appearances, the actor-singer opted for a full look by Neric Beltran. The ensemble featured the Miles Jacket in cobalt blue, with an embellished panel by the pockets, a sailor-inspired scarf accent, and a waling-waling brooch crafted from local textiles. He completed the outfit with a white boxy lace shirt layered underneath.

Billy has long had a strong following in France. His 2001 single “Trackin” became a radio hit and gained popularity across Europe, while his succeeding album, Ride, reached Platinum status in France.

His television career in the country has continued to flourish in the years since. In 2022, he won the French edition of Dancing with the Stars, and just last June, he took home the Season 9 title of Mask Singer France.
