Quarantine weddings have been tricky. With the limited amount of guests allowed to attend and the required social-distancing protocols, a big soiree is definitely impossible to pull off. But for former actress Bianca King, intimacy, privacy, and practicality are what mattered most when she tied the knot.
So for her nuptials in Australia, Bianca opted to keep things close and held the wedding in her actual living room! No guests, just host and influencer Mari Jasmine as her maid-of-honor and photographer Michael Hidayat to capture the sweet moments on film.
She only released one photo from the event, and it revealed her gorgeous and summery bridal look! She opted for a tiered polka-dotted frock from sustainable Aussie label SIR. Though printed or colored wedding dresses aren’t so popular, we love this choice since it matches the casual and light atmosphere of her ceremony. It’s also a little reminiscent of Mandy Moore’s pink tulle wedding dress by Rodarte!

Bianca later on revealed via IG Stories that she never really wanted to wear a gown. “Thinking about my actual ‘wedding party’ I would not have an entourage, gown or don’t need to walk down an aisle,” she writes. “I’ve worn enough gowns in my life. One day we will throw a party! Maybe our first child will be five already then!”
If you’re wondering who did her makeup—Bianca did it herself! She even arranged her own flowers (with a little help from Mari, we might add!). Proof that a DIY wedding could look as chic as one styled by a coordinator.
