Loewe (pronounced as /Lo-EE-vay/) is a historic brand, having been established back in 1846 by Enrique Loewe Roessberg in the heart of Madrid. Spanish leather was one of most prized items by European royals since the 8th century and by 1905, King Alfonso XIII and Queen Victoria Eugenia granted Loewe the official title of Supplier to the Royal Court which made the brand a beacon of luxury, elegance, and sophistication. Luxury conglomerate LVMH acquired Loewe in 1996 and further became popular as a brand that highly specialized in leather goods and silk items.
With over 170 years of rich history, the Spanish brand is now helmed by Jonathan Anderson. This marked its rebirth in the fashion world with a newfound contemporary look without losing touch of their signature functionality, simplicity, and style.
Now, the brand has officially arrived in the country, having its first stand alone boutique in Shangri-La Plaza Mall.
