We love their own take on the theme!

Making its much-awaited comeback this year is none other than the Preview Ball 2022. As we ushered in a new era of fashion and art, we also prepared the most fitting dress code for our stylish guests. We asked everyone to "come dressed as the art," and like every form of art, it's open to interpretation—which made it all the more fun and exciting to find out what everybody would show up wearing! Truly, there was no better night for one to express their artistic side through a fashionable pink carpet look.

Naturally, we didn’t expect anything less than for our start-studded guest list to bring the wow factor during this evening. While bright colors and unique silhouettes were in full display, we also saw a number of neutral looks that were nothing short of stunning. Below, we run down our best dressed list for the Preview Ball 2022.

1. Marian Rivera

Trust Marian Rivera to instantly turn heads the minute she arrives. Everyone stopped and turned to watch the actress and celebrity mom as she arrived at the Preview Ball wearing a fully fringed fuchsia gown with a halter neckline. She teamed it with a matching pair of pink Amina Muaddi heels and wore her long tresses in a cute bubble ponytail. We also super adore her statement arm candy for the night!

2. Alodia Gosiengfiao

Alodia Gosiengfiao sauntered down the pink carpet looking absolutely ethereal in a shimmering white off-shoulder gown by Mara Chua. The dress, featuring a bustier-style bodice to accentuate the influencer’s figure, also had a thigh-baring slit that revealed Alodia's long legs. Adding an off-kilter touch to her ensemble were her golden sun-themed headphones (which she designed herself!) and matching pointed talons that completed the cosplayer's fantasy-themed look.

3. Kylie Verzosa

Barbie doll alert! Kylie Versoza was fresh out of the box stepping onto this year’s Preview Ball pink carpet as the undisputed queen of the barbiecore trend. She merged iconic doll aesthetic with her tried and tested ability to rock any hubadera ensemble by baring it all in a mini pink Anthony Ramirez number.

4. Hannah Arnold

Another guest who turned heads on the red carpet was Binibining Pilipinas International 2021, Hannah Arnold! While her lime green ball Manny Halasan gown embellished with intricate beadwork and hand-painted was already show-stopping on its own, it was her intricate bejeweled headpiece perched precariously that definitely stole the show!

5. Toni Sia

Channeling Old Hollywood glamour was Toni Sia, who showed up to the ball in a sultry black and gold number from local designer Jerome Tayao. While the fitted bodice hugged her like a glove, its sequined skirt didn’t fail to show off a substantial amount of skin thanks to its thigh-high slit.

6. Catriona Gray

Another stunning beauty queen who graced the pink carpet was Catriona Gray. The Miss Universe 2018 donned a Vania Romoff creation that featured the designer’s signature terno-style blouse with a ruffled neckline and studded with pearls, which she paired with a form-fitting black skirt with a ruffled sash hanging from the side. A modern Amorsolo muse, if we may say!

7. Jessica Yang

No one does hubadera dressing quite like Jessica Yang does as she arrived at the event in a two-piece OOTD by designer, Bonita Peneranda. Her voluminous purple feathered top revealed her sculpted physique, which she wore together with a glittering see-through skirt. Injecting an other-worldly aura to her look was her structured silver headdress.

8. Jasmine Curtis-Smith

Jasmine Curtis-Smith was blooming in her lilac-colored dress by Raissa Dimacali that's almost reminiscent of watercolor brush strokes. She teamed her adorable frock with a shiny pair of Mach & Mach bow pumps. For a fun beauty look, the actress opted for purple graphic eyeliner to highlight her eyes.

9. Kyline Alcantara

Kyline Alcantara was seemingly dripping in gold when she arrived to the party rocking a ruffled gold-speckled dress from Dolce & Gabbana. Her footwear of choice was a total eye candy, too! Also from the luxury Italian fashion house, her gold platforms were adorned with flower buds covering the front and sole. Talk about a statement shoe!

Less is definitely more in the case of Pia Wurtzbach, who appeared on the pink carpet in a slinky black Saint Laurent catsuit that hugged her curves in all the right places. It featured a low neckline and structured shoulders, which she so perfectly complemented with a pair of dangly chandelier earrings. A vision in black!

11. Niana Guerrero

Sporting an athleisure meets formal look was Tikok star Niana Guerrero! She styled her silver long-sleeved top and asymmetrical skirt with more casual pieces such as a baggy blue jacket and a beanie. The talented 16-year-old dancing superstar completed her look with a pair of knee-high stilleto boots and injected an edgy twist to her overall vibe.

12. Vice Ganda

Vice Ganda never fails to show up in a jaw-dropping outfit every time! The multi-hyphenate's look for the night was a black and white Neric Beltran creation. While the column gown itself was a timeless black piece with a beaded corset, what upped the ante of her overall look was the structured white sash that extended across her right side!

13. Mimiyuuuh

As one of Preview's "Style Icon" awardees of the night, Mimiyuuuh was certainly dressed to the nines. The Youtuber showed off her sweet yet cool girl vibe as she came decked out in a Thian Rodriguez metal beaded top offset with the softness of her tulle skirt by ḢA.MÜ.

14. Michelle Dy

Michelle Dy's take on the Preview Ball's artistic theme was paying tribute to Juan Luna through a modern interpretation of his famous painting, Odalisque. Her barely-there baby pink dress had a raw effect to it with its frayed fabric and was given some shape with its visible boning. So stunning!

15. Rei Germar

Last but definitely not the least is Rei Germar, who sported a Schiaparelli-inspired bralette bedecked with golden flower ornaments. To juxtapose her top’s avant-garde nature, she teamed it with an oversized linen jacket and an ankle-length skirt.
