You can bet the prospect of our nation's brightest stars dressing around the 2019 ABS-CBN Ball's theme of Modern Filipiniana 100% got us giddy. What better way to proudly show off the country's gifted couturiers, after all? And now that the big night has finally, finally arrived, our eager anticipation to see who really stole the show definitely wasn't for nothing. Here, in no particular order, our top 10 favorite looks of the ultra-glam evening.
1. Ylona Garcia
One of the very first to make her grand entrance, Ylona Garcia gave us serious Amorsolo painting meets The Great Gatsby vibes in shimmering gold-fringed Michael Leyva.

2. Kisses Delavin
We held our breath as Kisses Delavin floated down the red carpet in buttercream-hued, one-shouldered Jot Losa. That single mutton-leg sleeve (a trend we're beginning to see form!) does so much.

3. Sarah Lahbati
A complete stunner in exquisite, elegant drop-sleeved ivory Mark Bumgarner was Sarah Lahbati. We're swooning over her tri-strand pearl choker—a tasteful old-world touch!

4. Bea Alonzo
Nothing beats an LBD, especially when it's as well-made as Bea Alonzo's asymmetrical Jun Escario. That intricate myriad of textures!

5. Leila Alcasid
Talk about a total dream. Leila Alcasid's soft, wispy Vania Romoff had us walking on cloud 9. "The traditional piña fabric, which is entirely used for the top part of the dress, was manipulated in [out-of-the-box] ways, like pleating, constructing it into a bustier with an exposed corset, and forming it to continuous terno sleeves draping as a cape down to the back," stylist Danae Dipon shared.

6. Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis' quaint, quirky Mich Dulce ensemble even came with an adorable matching headpiece fit for an afternoon at the British horse races.

7. Julia Barretto
Julia Barretto look positively sublime in custom Rajo Laurel. He wrote in an Instagram post: "This four-ply jusi terno has 12,000 individually hand-painted sampaguitas encrusted with the tiniest seed pearls and crystals."

8. Kim Jones
Now this is deconstructed done right. Kim Jones wowed in cool, current Carl Jan Cruz and of-the-moment Bottega Veneta heels.

9. Janella Salvador
There was a ton to love about Janella Salvador's Michael Leyva look: those statement arms, that low-cut, blazer-esque neckline, a full ball skirt, and (perhaps the piece de resistance) her dainty hair ribbon.

10. Yassi Pressman
Fun fact: The masterful construction of Yassi Pressman's vibrant chartreuse dress is, according to designer Anthony Ramirez, an ode to the late National Artist Ramon Valera.
