For a lot of folks, coffee is life—and while purists will insist on taking their brew black, there are also times that we hanker for the extra creamy lift that you get with a splash of milk. And for convenience’s sake, nothing beats the kind that comes in a bottle, since you can stash it in your fridge (most versions have a shelf life of about three to four days) so it’s good to go anytime you need your caffeine fix. Not all versions are made equally, so which one should you go for?
For this Top 10 list, we narrowed down the selection to bottled lattes that are espresso-based (no cold-brew lattes here!). We had these lattes as is, which typically means whole milk and zero sweetness. And while quality is our main focus, we also considered how easily accessible these bottles are and if they have competitive price points. Our ideal latte tastes of good coffee that’s balanced out with—but not drowned out by—milk, and has enough body that makes for a rich but not overly decadent sip.

10. Latte by Tuesday Bake
Robust and chocolatey is how we’d describe Tuesday Bake’s Latte (P150), which is brewed to order and made with 100% single-origin medium-roast Arabica beans. Coming in a slim rectangular bottle, it’s just at the midpoint of being mellow and strong among the others on this list, which is not a bad thing in our book. The coffee is perfectly balanced with velvety whole milk for a smooth and harmonious sip where both parts bring out the best of each other.

9. Latte by Decouverte
Decouverte is a well-recognized seller of coffee equipment (including espresso machines, coffee grinders, percolators, and more) and coffee beans, and they use their Decouverte No. 13 blend (of 100% Arabica beans from Mt. Apo, Yunnan, and Vietnam) in their Latte (P120), which comes in an easy-to-store bottle. Just amply intense but not overwhelming, you get a slightly citrusy, roasty coffee profile that’s balanced out with enough milk.

8. Latte by Pedal Cafe
The use of 100% dark-roast Arabica beans make for sultry sips in Pedal Cafe’s Latte (P120). It’s mid-level in intensity with hints of cocoa duskiness (sans any overpowering or biting bitterness), and you can taste its vigor amid the creamy milk. And then there’s the full-bodied, silky consistency, which is great both straight out of the bottle or over ice.

7. Latte by Cafe Whitney
Cafe Whitney’s Latte (P150) delivers a just-right dose of coffee—it introduces itself on a roasty note with a hint of dark chocolate, and goes the berry-like direction toward the end. You also get ample creaminess from milk, while still letting the coffee shine. If you’re not into dairy, you’ll be happy to know they also make lattes with almond and oat milk.

6. Iced Caffe Latte (Bottled, %ARABICA Blend) by % Arabica
You have the option to order % ARABICA’s Iced Caffe Latte in a PET bottle (P190)—a stout, octagonal one showcasing the % logo, to be exact—from their stores or for delivery from their Beepit website. They use Arabica beans here, of course, and you get a mid-level intensity of roasty, slightly malty coffee from the first to the last sip, as well as a mellow chocolate aftertaste. The milk component here has a relatively more full-bodied character and naturally sweet aftertaste that makes us think they used a really good brand of dairy.

5. Latte (Solo - Whole Milk) by Cafe Seventy Six
If you like your latte on the really intense end of the spectrum, Cafe Seventy Six’s version (P90) with a double shot of single-origin Arabica espresso may just be the one for you. It has the second-strongest dose of coffee among the bottled lattes we tried, with a deeply roasted, even borderline-smoky character to it. We don’t necessarily think stronger is better—there’s more to good coffee than that—and it might even be too strong for casual drinkers, but in our book, this latte’s potent character makes for truly memorable sips. Plus, there’s enough milk here to make for a silky-smooth mouthfeel and ample creaminess toward the end. Aside from the dairy-milk version, Cafe Seventy Six also makes soy and almond lattes.

4. Latte/Flat White (Bottled) by Prominent MNL
QC café Prominent MNL’s bottled Latte/Flat White (P140) is a great all-around latte that would please both casual coffee drinkers and serious enthusiasts. The coffee (they tell us they use medium-roast beans from Brazil) is powerful without being overwhelming in intensity, and has a smooth and well-rounded character that’s beautifully roasted sans any harsh or raspy characteristics. Its depth of coffee flavor is evened out by the milk, and the balance of both parts is wonderful.

3. Latte by Cole&Co. Specialty Coffee
Cole&Co. Specialty Coffee makes their Latte (P110) on the strong and very roasty-tasting end, using 100% Arabica beans from Brazil and Indonesia. Despite its intensity, it doesn’t taste burnt or jarring, and you get a full-on dose of creaminess from milk that wonderfully rounds out any rough edges. The result? A dreamy drink in a slim, round bottle that ticks all the right boxes and does it really well. Cole Specialty Coffee also makes lattes with soy and oat milks.

2. Bottled Iced White by Habitual Coffee
There’s something oddly charming about seeing your name handwritten on the labels on the slim bottles of Habitual Coffee’s Bottled Iced White (P170). But it’s not just the packaging that draws us in; this beverage immediately stands out from the rest for its distinguished flavor profile. Their coffee beans change up seasonally—for our bottle they used coffee beans of the Mount Malepunyo Liberica Red Honey sort, and it makes for a great sensation that’s deep and robust, but also part-nutty (think roasted almonds and edamame), part-earthy, as well as part-fruity (we can’t pinpoint exactly what fruit we’re getting, but it’s of the ripe and slightly tangy but not acidic sort). It sounds like a lot, we know, but it all comes together for a harmonious sip. The coffee is strong and the milk is just right, giving it a creamy feel that isn’t overly rich. Plus, they’re also on Foodpanda, which is convenient if you live near their stores; otherwise, you can just head to their website and book a courier.

1. Espresso with Milk by The Curator
The Curator’s Espresso with Milk (P200) offers quite the flavor trip in a sleek package. For the coffee part of the equation, they use the Dark Matter Theory coffee-bean blend from EDSA Beverage Design Studio (this is the default option, but you can also opt to have yours made with the fruitier Purple Haze blend)—and it makes for a dynamic sensation which starts deep, dark, and cocoa-like before it goes in the fruity direction. In particular, it evokes flavors such as grape juice, as well as the Filipino fruit known as duhat, which is an uplifting closure to its bold entrance. There’s enough milk for balance and for a smooth mouthfeel that skims the tongue like silk, but the star of the show is truly the stellar coffee. Trust us, you’ll be remembering this one even long after your last sip.
