With the reopening of their first clinic since quarantine was imposed, the Belo Medical Group is showing the world what's in store for the "new normal" in beauty. They've fully revamped their safety protocols in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it's quite the impressive sight.
"We've reworked every single aspect of our trademark #BeloExperience, crafted new and evolving safety policies, augmented our already rigorous housekeeping practices, trained our personnel to learn new safe work habits, and invested in new medical-grade environmental sanitation devices—all these while making sure we don't compromise on value, especially on real results," writes Dr. Hayden Kho Jr. on Instagram.
The group's Greenhills branch, which is registered as a medical clinic, received clearance from the city of San Juan to partially resume operations last May 20. According to Dr. Vicki Belo, their TriNoma and Tomas Morato branches are set to be the next ones to reopen their doors.

One of the newest changes in operations is their booking process. Prior to finalizing your appointment, Belo will conduct a short COVID-19 interview with you over the phone. You may also fill out their online screening test and aesthetic interest survey beforehand.
On the day of your booking, you'll need to wear a face mask, dip your shoes on a disinfecting foot bath, and have your temperature checked before entering the branch. And once you're inside, you'll be greeted by the Belo staff wearing their masks, face shields, and of course, their colorful PPE suits by Wilby Cruz and Mariella Garcia. So stylish!
Aside from sanitizing treatment rooms after every patient, the clinic keeps the area clean by using a medical-grade air filtering system and disinfecting surfaces with a patented bacteriostatic barrier that Dr. Hayden says can "destroy microorganisms upon contact for two years."
To limit contact, everyone is encouraged to opt for contactless payments, bring their own reusable water bottle for refreshments, observe physical distancing of at least six feet with others, and to avoid bringing companions unless absolutely necessary.
