Belle Mariano is owning her leading lady title with the release of her latest film, Tayo sa Wakas. A collaboration with her love team partner Donny Pangilinan and director Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the film marks a turning point for the lead stars' careers. The on-screen couple has professed that the movie will be their last joint project for the time being, making their premiere last May 27 a momentous occasion.

For the event, Belle and Donny decided to complement one another with pink-and-blue looks, an apt color story for one of Gen Z's most beloved pairings. With his recently debuted buzz cut, Donny wore a navy blue suit with a crisp white button-down whose collar was emphasized. Meanwhile, his co-star donned a peachy maxi dress that featured a plunging neckline and a floral appliqué.

In a quick chat with Preview, Belle's stylist Adrianne Concepcion shares that they wanted to switch up the actress' usual look, given the film's significance to her career. "We wanted a pivot from her usual conservative and ultra-feminine look [and try] something risque [with a] little more skin [showing,]" she shares.

According to Adrianne, the film positions Belle as a "mature leading lady," with the blush-hued frock representing such growth. It aimed to exhibit Belle as a "woman who celebrates her becoming, [while still remaining] authentic to her feminine core."

The exact piece she wore also reflects David Koma's understanding of the feminine form, with its cuts and free-flowing silhouette making it a worthy addition to any star's wardrobe. The dress retails for about P160,000 online.
