From the get-go, Abby Jocson always had that entrepreneurial streak in her. While en route to completing her double degree in Behavioral Sciences and Marketing Management at De La Salle University, she was acting on her “real secret dream” by hawking fashion products to her classmates and friends. And as she was getting an education on the 4 Ps, behind the scenes she was cutting and posting magazine photos on her wall, channeling inspiration from it.
Fast forward a couple of years, she finds herself at the helm of marketing operations for one of the country’s top fashion retailers. As she was getting a good grasp of the industry she has always dreamed to be a part of, she augmented her marketing know-how with hard technical knowledge culled from several courses she took at the renowned Fashion Institute of the Philippines.
Putting together all these diverse elements, the synergistic end result showcases contemporary designs that cater to both the alpha female and modern Juliet–hybrid bags that suit strong, ambitious women yet are flexible enough to attract their charming, romantic alter egos.
Her eponymous design line is reflective of her own intrinsic character. In today’s fast paced, highly competitive urban jungle, her bags highlight a microcosm of today’s career woman–active, competitive glamazons who know how to reconcile the differing elements of work and play.
