Since she won the Miss Universe Philippines crown in 2021, Beatrice Luigi Gomez has been consistently making history. She is the country's first Miss Universe delegate who's openly part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and then went on to finish as Top 5 finalist in the international pageant.
Tonight, as Beatrice passes her crown to a new queen, she made sure to end her reign with yet another historic moment. Instead of the average luxurious gown, the Cebuana beauty broke tradition and sported a suit for one of her last moments with the title.

Beatrice was clad in a black and white wool brocade suit by Francis Libiran,who was also responsible for her Miss Universe evening gown. They opted for a long blazer, tightly secured to flatter the beauty queen's figure, and a bow tie to match. Her straight-cut trousers were also perfectly cut to reveal the bright pop of pink on her Jojo Bragais shoes. For her beauty look, Beatrice kept it simple with a sleek middle-parted ponytail and smoky glam finished off with a berry-hued lip.
While this was a first for the Miss Universe Philippines stage, it does remind us of the tuxedo-style gown worn by Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori. Coincidentally, it was also for her final walk!

After her suit moment, Bea changed into an outfit with an entirely different vibe to crown her successor. She wore a stunning violet crystal-encrusted sheath gown, which featured sultry cutouts at the waist.
