Celebrities putting up their prized possessions for philanthropic purposes isn’t anything new. In the States, it’s common for belongings of late Hollywood stars to be put up for auction, with proceeds going to particular charities. While it isn’t a common practice here in Manila, perhaps this piece of news we got wind of will be the start of something new.
Shop & Share is an e-commerce platform for celebrities’ pre-loved items. Proceeds of the sales will help fund COVID-19 testing for the underprivileged in the country. The website has been teasing some products that will be made available during the launch tonight, June 1, and we spotted some designer shoes owned by your fave celebs, specifically Bea Alonzo and Liza Soberano!
Check them out below:
Saint Laurent Tribute Platform Sandals
Tribute Platform Sandals in Patent Leather, $895 (approximately P45,130.82), SAINT LAURENT, ysl.com
Yup, Bea is selling her Tribute sandals. Although the colors red and green aren’t available in trusted e-retailers (they’re mostly sold out), a pair of Tribute sandals retails at $895 or approximately P45,130.82.
A few pairs of designer shoes once worn by television’s sweetheart Liza Soberano are also up for grabs. We wonder which OOTDs she wore these with!
Christian Louboutin Harler 100
Harler 100 Patent Leather Ankle-cuff Strap, $895 (approximately P45,130.82), CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN, lyst.com
Versace Medusa Sneakers
Versace Medusa Sneakers, $1275 (approximately P64,292.51), VERSACE, poshmark.com
Other celebrities who have joined Shop & Share are Anne Curtis, Angel Locsin, Vice Ganda, and Karla Estrada. Anne is letting go of her pre-loved Chanel Boy bag while Angel is selling—wait for it—a car (an SUV, to be exact!).
Prices for said items have not yet been disclosed, but we suspect they’ll sell for a fraction of the original retail price. So you not only get to score these cool, hard-to-find pieces for less, but you also get to support an effort that will help stem the spread of COVID-19. That sounds like more than just a good deal.
