Her latest vlog treated us to a 13-minute crash course in which she styled her top five closet faves, putting together three adorable looks for each. Take notes!
Closet Favorite #1: The white button-down shirt
Style it with blue jeans and a brown belt.
“You can never go wrong with this classic look. [Wear] your white button-down shirt—crisp!—and also your brown belt, straight jeans, and white pumps. I would probably wear this to a meeting to create a good impression. Or, I could go to a museum and have lunch, and still look cute!"
Style it with sportswear.
"So if you want to go a little sporty or casual chic, you can pair your crop top with your biker shorts and your favorite button down shirt. For me, it has to be a little oversized for it to work."
Style it as a dress with a black belt bag.
"You could wear it on its own with your favorite belt bag, or just a good belt, and your favorite shoes."
Closet Favorite #2: Straight cut jeans
Style it with a printed scarf top.
"This is another way to wear your scarf. This is my Hermès scarf that I paired with my straight jeans and Bottega [Veneta] sandals. This look, I have to say, is very '9os!"
Style it with a fun, playful top.
"You can grab your mom jeans and pair it with a fun and playful top!"
Style it with a white crop top and oversized khaki blazer.
"You can go for a more elevated look by pairing your mom jeans with a crop top. And this is a khaki blazer, with my Balenciaga boots. I would probably wear this when I’m travelling."
Closet Favorite #3: A white t-shirt
Style it with a leather skirt.
"You can wear it with your leather skirt, and this look can go from day to night."
Style it with jeans and a blazer.
"Or, you can also create this cool girl look by pairing your white top with jeans…and [a] pinstriped blazer."
Style it with a long sequined skirt.
"Or you can go a bit formal with your white t-shirt if you pair it with your sequined skirt and pumps. The white shirt has an understated power in making your look come togeher."
Closet Favorite #4: A blazer
Wear your blazer as a dress.
"You can wear your blazer in a more casual manner by wearing it on its own with a belt. And just wear your Dr. Martens or military boots!"
Wear co-ords (specifically a blazer and trouser set).
"You can wear your pastel co-ords and make it more fun with your crop top and white sneakers. Go for an oversized or boxy style blazer if you're aiming for a more relaxed look. But, if you want to look sharp, you can opt to wear a more form fitting suit."
Style it with a silk dress.
"You can pair your blzaer with your silk dress to make it more feminine. It makes me feel feminine, and at the same time, empowered. Invest in a quality blazer and witness how this piece can give mileage to your wardrobe.
Closet Favorite #5: The little black dress
Style it with a belt.
"The easiest way to style your strapless LBD is to pair it with a belt, and, of course, your classy gold and black sandals."
Style it with a turtleneck.
"Wear your white turtleneck shirt under your LBD to create that '60s or '50s look. You can never go wrong with and [will] instantly look elegant and classy with the right LBD. This is why, for decades, trends came and went, but the LBD never lost its charm and adaptability."
Style it with a leather jacket.
This is my msost casual LBD look. Throw on your leather jacket, and wear your slip-ons. I would probably wear this to get coffee on a Sunday or to walk my dog!"
