“You can’t sit with us” is one harsh sentence that can break a girl’s heart into a million little pieces. Truth is, we refuse to believe that everyone possesses this Regina George syndrome. So, let’s imagine a positive scenario instead. We’ve cherry-picked four of the coolest celebrity barkadas that any girl would kill to be part of. Now if it’s up to you to decide, we’d love to know: Which club would you sign up for?
Group Members: Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff, Georgina Wilson, Belle Daza, Bea Soriano-Dee, Martine Cajucom, Liz Uy
Style Mantra: Keep it classy, never trashy.
From Chanel 2.55 bags to Christian Louboutin pointy-toed pumps, these girls know designers like the back of their hands. They may look like the high school mean girls you won’t dare sit with during lunch, but we bet that won’t stop you from double-tapping on their #OOTDs and copping their looks.
Initiation: Say Givenchy five times— fast!
Group Members: Megan Young, Lauren Young, Maxene Magalona, Saab Magalona, Janna Tee
Style Mantra: Why compromise comfort for style when you can have the best of both worlds?
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from this posse—style-wise at least, that’s to never settle for an outfit that you’re not comfortable in. Keeping it cool and comfy, we can all take cues from these two Youngs, two Magalonas, and one Tee, a.k.a. the “Beshies.” Bottom line: Think laid-back with a bit of an edge.
Initiation: If you don't own at least one pair of boots, don't even think about it.
Group Members: Laureen Uy, Kryz Uy, Camille Co, Patricia Prieto
Style Mantra: Excessorize, darling! EXCESSorize!
These girls rule over the bloggersphere, and if you’re not gutsy or experimental enough, then this clique comprised of the country’s top bloggers doesn’t have time to listen to your sob stories over a cup of non-Instagram worthy coffee. Our advice? Bling it on, bisches!
Initiation: Train your boyfriend to be your photographer. A boyfie-tographer!
Group Members: Kim Chiu, Melissa Ricks, Erich Gonzales, Beauty Gonzales, Empress Schuck
Style Mantra: Add sugar, spice, and everything nice!
Before any violent reactions, we just want to clarify that we did try to look for better photos of this celebrity barkada—but to no avail, obviously. Our guess is that Instagram wasn’t as popular when they were still friends. We kind of wish they stayed strong, but whether it was really boys or the competition in the industry which led their friendship astray, there’s no denying that no other posse does sweet and dainty better than these ladies combined.
Initiation: Have your own fan club. Duh.
