Bang For The Buck: Nao Do Brazil Caipi Sneakers We finally found the perfect pair of sneakers for our upcoming summer travels!

Nao Do Brasil, a shoe brand famous for their hand-crafted sneakers, is finally available in Manila and just so you know, they are also available in other cities like Dubai and Paris. The shoes are made completely by hand in a purely craft setting. Take note: not factory setting.

When we first saw the store, we couldn’t help but fall in love because right now, the sneaker trend is on an all-time high. Imagine rows upon rows of sneakers in different styles, colors, and fabrics! They offer exclusive color swatches per size and style, which makes them limited and one-of-a-kind. The silhouette and sole for all the designs are light and sleek making it easy to bring during out-of-town trips. They are, in fact, "designed and crafted for leisure." For now, we gush over their classic design called the Caipi and list down why we find it oh-so-lovable!

Nao Do Brasil has also a very interesting story on how it started. Read on and be inspired:

"The story goes how somewhere in the depths of Minas Geraï, an arid region of Brazil, lived little Adilson.

Tired of walking barefoot and hearing his poor mother always answer 'Nao' or 'no' to each of his requests to buy shoes, he decided to make his own.

Adilson picked up colorful leather, fabric, and rubber materials in the impoverished districts of Belo Horizonte and created his first pair.

Year after year of making new shoes for himself, his design and craftsmanship was improved, perfected, and caught the attention of others.

When asked what name he calls his shoes, he immediately recalls his mother, and replied 'Nao' with an enigmatic smile on his face.

Today, it is said that Alison is a happy man, and at the head of a small business that manufactures thousands of multi-colored shoes that delights everyone who sees them."
