They are joining luxury fashion's movement towards fighting COVID-19.

The Armani Group has announced that all of its Italian production plants have now switched to manufacturing single-use medical overalls, to be used for the individual protection of healthcare workers engaged in the fight against the COVID-19 disease. 


Following Giorgio Armani's initial donation to Italy's National Civil Protection Department and the Luigi Sacco, San Raffaele, and Istituto dei Tumori hospitals in Milan plus the Istituto Spallanzani in Rome, in recent weeks the designer has also contributed to hospitals in Bergamo, Piacenza, and Versilia in the Tuscany region, with a total donation of two million euros.

This news follows Bulgari's commitment last week to manufacture, together with its historical fragrances partner Industrie Cosmetiche Riunite, several hundred thousand hand gel bottles to be supplied in priority to all medical facilities also through the Italian Civil Protection Department.
