Ariana Grande made waves late last night when she shared photos of her intimate wedding to real estate broker Dalton Gomez. Just last week, rumors flew that the 27-year-old singer tied the knot at her Montecito mansion and these newly released snaps of her gorgeous nuptials proved they tied the knot on May 15. The couple got engaged last December 2020 and Ariana broke the news via Instagram with the caption, “forever n then some.”
For her big day, Ari channeled a bit of Audrey Hepburn’s wedding look from Funny Face, when the singer opted for a very similar veil to what the actress wore in the film. As per usual, Ariana had her hair up in a high ponytail, but opted for a sleek, shiny, and subtle middle part to frame her face better. The result is a classy and almost ‘60s inspired updo.
For her makeup, the singer went with an immaculate cat eye and soft warm shadows. Much like her look on stage but pared down for the elegance of the occasion. A soft nude lip topped off the flawless beauty look.
Her wedding dress was made by Vera Wang and featured a unique sculpted neckline and a dangerously low back with an exposed strap. According to Vogue, the empire waist column dress was made of custom “lily white, silk charmeuse.” It’s safe to say the ivory hue was simply heavenly.
In case you didn’t know, Vera dressed Ariana for the 2018 Met Gala and promised to make the singer’s wedding gown when the time came.
Oddly enough, Ariana's custom bridal gown is also reminiscent of Maxene Magalona’s wedding dress. The silhouette is called Odelle and has been part of the designer's bridal line since 2015.
Ariana then completed her look with pearl and diamond earrings from Lorraine Schwartz (which echoed the design of her engagement ring, BTW!) and a pair of custom Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels to match the length of her dress. Meanwhile, her husband Dalton wore a simple cut Tom Ford suit.
