Anne Hathaway has had quite the year for maternity dressing. Between film premieres and press appearances, the actress has been making a strong case for clothes that accommodate a growing bump while still feeling distinctly red carpet.
For her latest appearance, she brought a celebrated Filipino designer into the mix. Anne wore Monique Lhuillier to her Disney Legends ceremony at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California, where she was honored for her work with the Disney company.

Anne was among 11 honorees inducted as Disney Legends this year. As part of the ceremony, she took part in the traditional handprint ceremony, leaving her prints and signature to be preserved as part of the Disney Legends collection.
She chose Monique Lhuillier for the occasion, working with stylist Erin Walsh on the designer’s Watercolor Floral Crepe Gown from the Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear collection. The ivory floor-length gown features a painterly multicolor floral print, short sleeves, a jewel neckline, and an A-line silhouette that falls loosely over the body.
The dress is Look 11 from Monique’s Spring 2026 collection, which put florals front and center through everything from dimensional blooms to vivid prints and embroidered details. The runway also played with volume and proportion, with structured silhouettes set against softer, flowing fabrics. Anne’s gown takes a more pared-back approach, letting its watercolor-like floral print carry the look.
The silhouette also fits neatly into Anne’s maternity wardrobe. It gives her plenty of room through the body while retaining the clean lines of a formal gown, making the bump part of the silhouette.

Anne’s Disney legacy, meanwhile, stretches back more than two decades, beginning with her breakout role as Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries in 2001, followed by The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement in 2004. She later stepped into the whimsical world of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland films, playing the White Queen in both the original and its sequel, Alice Through the Looking Glass.
The Disney Legends ceremony took place during D23, Disney’s biennial fan event that gathers its film, television, and theme park divisions for major announcements, presentations, and celebrations. This year’s honorees also included Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the Jonas Brothers.
