Ever the fashion plate, we all wondered what Anne Curtis would wear on her wedding day. The actress has worn many beautiful gowns on the red carpet, after all.
But for her big day, her choice felt as if she had arrived at her wedding at her most natural, looking forward to marrying the man she loves. Foregoing the extravagance of beadwork and gems, She was glowing in a custom long-sleeved lace gown by Monique Lhuillier with a full skirt. Beneath the lace overlay was a sweetheart neckline. She was the portrait of a blushing bride against the lush backdrop of greenery.

The lace and silhouette are similar to the Channing dress from Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2018 bridal collection. It looks like the sweetheart neckline was raised and the skirt set right at the waist to fit Anne perfectly.

While you can easily purchase a wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier off the rack, a custom-made gown requires a minimum six month lead time to produce. Her dresses range from $2000 to $10,000, but can cost as much as $20,000 depending on the customization.
Like with the Vera Wang dress Anne wore to her pre-wedding party, her good friend and stylist Liz Uy, who is currently based in LA, also saw her through her fittings at Monique Lhuillier’s studio.
We think Anne’s choice was a beautiful one to celebrate a joyous moment in her life. And, taking a page from Regine Velasquez, why not rock some ultra-comfy, height-enhancing Prada platform boots beneath your gown?

For the reception, Anne didn’t just change her lip shade, she also changed the look of her gown. Worn without the long-sleeved lace overlay, the strapless ballgown looked like a signature Anne dress style.
Congratulations, Anne and Erwan!
