Being in the biz for almost two decades now, Anne Curtis has cemented her place in the local industry with her doll-like features, playful fashion, and love of matte pink lipsticks. But apart from looking like a legit Barbie girl, did you know that she actually used to live in a doll house? Just in time for #ThrowbackThursday, we had a chance to reminisce about her sweet old days living inside almost every teenager’s dream home.
In a quiet neighborhood south of Metro Manila, a picket-fenced house was home to the star before she moved to her current residence, a condominium in Makati. Its striped wallpaper and cream carpet scream Dream House, while the pink seating and stenciled vanities befit the Audrey Hepburn fan, who's likely to enjoy an afternoon with Ladurée macarons and a cup of tea while watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s for the nth time.
In this pretty little corner lies a big stack of evidence of Anne’s obsession for the Hollywood fashion icon. She’s always been vocal about being a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn, and here goes all the proof one could ever need.
Spotted: The vanity chamber of Anne’s attractive boudoir where she keeps her little trinkets. It’s quite French - we could almost smell her favorite Lanvin Eclat. And we have to say, it’s been a while since we last saw her toting around those Chanel handbags. In her #OOTDs now, she's more likely to carry a Proenza Schouler PS1. (Come to think of it, she doesn't really post pictures of her bags.)
The shoes in her closet also brought us into a nostalgic mood - back to the time of round-toed pumps, peep-toes, and heeled MaryJanes. You'd never catch her wearing those now, what with her current collection of Valentino Rockstuds and Louboutin So Kate pumps.
At the end of the day, a star needs to rest like a princess. We can picture Anne sleeping soundly in her dainty canopy bed surrounded by lace curtains and lying dreamily under soft duvet covers. Ah, this must be what sweet dreams are made of!
