With countless endorsements and over a dozen Preview covers under her belt, there's no question that our September 2025 cover star Anne Curtis is a most-wanted muse. So when the actress reached out to Preview Best Filipino Fashion Designers 2023 honoree RJ Santos for a custom Randolf look, the designer was thrilled and gamely took on the challenge of crafting a piece that perfectly balanced "Randolf x Anne."

In an exclusive chat with Preview, RJ revealed that he had been exchanging messages with Anne on Instagram after she liked a recent Randolf post. She inquired about having an outfit made, and it was only during measurements that they realized it was for the Preview Ball.
"At first, I was like 'how can we make it different?' since she literally has access to all the best gowns and designers," RJ admits candidly. "So I decided to take her to our world."

The result? A soft tulle dress with embroidered stars floating around her, and a strategically placed "tattoo" angel at the back for a fun surprise element. "I wanted to take the opportunity to create something for Anne that would greatly represent our brand, at the same time, create something that can be a vessel to highlight her personality," RJ explains.

Since the bespoke piece was guided by the "homegrown" theme of this year's Preview Ball, RJ interpreted the dress code as an invitation to showcase Randolf's DNA unapologetically. "With the theme 'homegrown,' we wanted to seize the opportunity to create a piece that represents what our brand is and what it stands for," he shares. "We believe that highlighting the differences of our own lived experiences as a brand is the ultimate definition of what 'homegrown' is. It’s not about following a certain style or fabric, but more on presenting yourself unapologetically."
