Animal print never really goes out of style. Season after season, designers take inspiration from the animal kingdom's fiercest to interpret them as apparel and accessories. Among the motifs adored by fashionistas is cheetah print, distinguished by its scattered spots and pale brown hue.
For the house of Chanel, cheetah print has long been a design code, reimagined by those who have led the brand's creative direction through the years. At Matthieu Blazy's Métiers d'art 2026 show, the fastest animal on land was referenced through statement-making handbags—which have since found their way to the closets of our very own Anne Curtis, Pia Wurtzbach, and Marian Rivera.

As a reward for "working her ass off" for months, Anne indulged in some well-deserved "Chanel-maxxing." She shared her shopping loot during a trip to Shanghai, China, where double-C's punctuated each of her looks. A scene-stealer in her roster was the Chanel 25 Mini Handbag, rendered in fine cheetah print. Whether with an all-black combo or a casual barong, the bag totally added enough attitude to the actress' OOTDs.
The exact same piece was spotted on Pia, who was docked in Manila for personal and professional agendas. For a laid-back look, she went for a striped long-sleeved tee teamed with bright green bloomers and laced-up Oxfords. For a sprinkle of fun, she put on an oversized pair of tinted shades and brought along her cheetah-print tote.

Rounding out the ultra-stylish trio was Marian, who attended a dermatology clinic's event repping her signature feminine style. She had two sets of arm candy that day: her husband Dingdong Dantes and her cheetah-printed Clutch on Chain. The petite purse packed just enough attitude to up the ante of her dainty frock.
The Exact Chanel Bags Worn by Anne Curtis, Pia Wurtzbach, and Marian Rivera
Chanel's expressions of animal print have enamored style icons of varying generations. Coco Chanel herself was often spotted in head-to-toe cheetah, which informed much of the maison's approach to experimenting with the pattern. At the Métiers d'art 2026 show, Matthieu sought to honor the craftsmanship behind the rather meticulous motif through jackets, skirts, and yes, handbags.
Anne and Pia's pick, the Chanel 25, is aptly named after the year it was born. Barely two years old, the carrier is already gaining it-bag status thanks to its cavernous capacity and double flap design. And despite its outward appearance, the exterior is actually made of classic lambskin leather, and not actual fur.

Meanwhile, Marian's Clutch on Chain is a more demure way to rock the dotted cheetah print. Following in the footsteps of its popular older sister, the Wallet on Chain, this bag has an endearing, rounded shape and can be held in your hand or slung over your shoulder. Never absent from these models are the gold-toned Chanel sigil and the interwoven chain and leather straps.
