The much-anticipated local adaptation of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay is set to premiere this July 19. At the press launch held on July 1, lead actress Anne Curtis, joined by co-stars Joshua Garcia and Carlo Aquino, shared details about the series with members of the media.

ICYMI, Anne will step into the role of Mia Hernandez, the Philippine version of Ko Mun-yeong, originally portrayed by Seo Yea Ji in the acclaimed Korean drama.

The hit series follows the story of Mun-yeong, a children’s book author navigating complex emotional wounds. While her withdrawn yet unapologetic persona captivated viewers, her fashion choices made an equally lasting impression. Known for her commanding wardrobe of high-end designer looks, the character quickly became a style reference for many K-drama fans—and clearly, Anne Curtis understands exactly how to nail that same sartorial edge.

Fully embodying her character’s persona, Anne arrived at the launch event in a chic, all-Schiaparelli number. With her hair styled into a tight bun by Raymond Santiago and her glam kept subdued by Robbie Pinera, the multimedia star was the ultimate sight of elegance in the black and gold ensemble.

Her black velvet mini dress featured a halter neckline and a sharply contoured silhouette. Adding dimension was a single pleated panel that draped asymmetrically across the front, anchored at the shoulder and gathered at the wrist with a chunky, gold chain bracelet. The fabric extended below the hem in a fluid sweep, acting simultaneously as a reinvented sleeve detail.

Complementing the look were sculptural gold accessories: oversized, gold hammered earrings and a stack of plated rings. Finishing the outfit was a pair of black velvet pumps, accented with Schiaparelli’s signature gold keyhole emblem.
