Anne Curtis is no stranger to assuming different roles. Whether on screen or across magazine covers, she slips into each character instinctively, fully inhabiting every version of herself without it ever feeling forced.

Seven months after fronting Preview’s milestone 30th anniversary issue, the multimedia star returns to our digital cover—this time as the face of Belo Medical Group, a brand she has grown alongside throughout her career.

Lensed by Hall of Fame honoree BJ Pascual, this month’s cover leans into a more pared-back portrayal of Anne, one where she’s entirely at ease in her own skin, even after years of stepping into different personas.

With an emphasis on her natural features, Creative Director Bacs Arcebal conceived the concept to highlight just that. Much like her past Preview covers, she envisioned a series of “unconventional portraits,” designed to capture her “unapologetic persona and radiant skin with minimal makeup.”

In line with Belo’s “beauty from within” philosophy, the prop styling by Justine Arcega-Bumanlag centered on organic elements such as lush greenery, butterflies, snails, and splashes of water, while keeping the focus on Anne’s clean portraits intact.

That same sensibility carried through to the styling. Rather than mirroring the set too literally, the wardrobe gave way for both the set elements and Anne’s presence to take focus. Streamlined silhouettes and restrained detailing created a natural sense of balance, letting each element register naturally.

Fortunately, creations by Filipino designers and local brands just seemed to align seamlessly with the brief.

Ahead, a closer look at every look Anne wore for the shoot.

On the cover

Surrounded by dense greenery, flowers, and live butterflies styled by Justine Arcega-Bumanlag, Anne made sense to wear something muted to let the foliage’s colors shine through.

Here, she wears a piece from Sandro Dela Peña’s 2025 Bench Design Awards collection, “Nautilus.” As seen in Look 1 on the runway, the design draws from the natural form of a nautilus shell, which Sandro interpreted through meticulous reverse pintucking.

Look 1

The first editorial look shifts toward something grittier and slightly raw. Keeping the same textured pixie cut by hairstylist Raymond Santiago, Anne wears the “Crackle Tee” by Caviteño designer Ziv Rei Alexi’s latest artisanal collection, “nardo.” The cracked cement finish is a signature of Ziv’s work, which is largely inspired by the hustle and bustle of local street life.

Styled with a black mini skirt from Helmut Lang, sourced through Univers One Rockwell, the look fully leans into an easy, off-duty kind of cool.

Look 2

In the final look, Anne wears pieces from independent local brands. Drenched in water, she sports the Naked Koui Underboob Top from Anabeza, paired with an icy-blue miniskirt from Merakibowy.

The stripped-back styling and neutral backdrop keep attention on her gaze, and her barely-there look is swept up by Robbie Piñera. The wet look, complete with the damp hair and glistening skin, adds a primal yet powerful look, all punctuated by Anne’s feisty gaze.

Fun fact: this entire look only costs P3,400!
