2015 has undeniably been a good year for model besties Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, but even with all their achievements and social media dominance, it was still not enough to win either of them the title of 2015 Model of the Year. Every December, Models.com ends the fashion year with their Model of the Year Industry Awards wherein 250 of the top designers, hair and makeup artists, casting directors, and even editors vote for who they think deserves the prestige.

The 22-year-old blonde may not have been on the news or on your social media feeds as much as the other two, but she also had a pretty impressive year. Aside from bagging big campaigns with Chanel, H&M, and Alexander Wang, she also had Vogue France, Germany, Britain, and China covers—all that plus the love of the industry people.
Gigi did win the reader's choice award with Kendall as the runner-up, but where this title is concerned, better luck next year KenGi.
