With Keeping Up With the Kardashians coming to an end (now available on hayu every Friday btw!), we can’t help but look back on the style choices (and evolution!) of the Kardashian-Jenners throughout their 14 years on the air. The reality show not only shot Kim Kardashian and her whole family to global stardom, it also made fashion icons out of them—with numerous editorials hailing them as their best-dressed celebrities and with them collaborating with stylists and big-name designers.

Their rise in fashion started from humble beginnings, and we’re looking back all the way since 2007 to see how much their styles have changed.

Season 1

Animal print was definitely in at this time, and Kim and her fam effortlessly donned it in their promo shoot for the first season. And while the style might seem dated, Kim definitely makes the look timeless by pairing her leopard-print dress with classic Louboutins.

Season 2

With the Kardashian sisters still in their 20s, they often frequented the club scene in jewel-toned ‘fits. We’re also obsessed with their voluminous curls and chunky jewelry!

Season 3

In 2009, we loved all things shiny, and so did the Kardashians! While Kourtney went all out with her sequin pants, Kim and Khloé went with more subdued yet trendy fabrics.

Season 4

Mini dresses were a big deal in 2010, and even Kourtney rocked the look three trimesters into her pregnancy. You’ll also notice that this is the season when the three sisters fully embraced their signature middle-part.

Season 5

Black doesn’t have to mean boring—especially if you play with texture. Here, Kim and Khloé don black mesh while Kourtney tones down her black feather dress with a chic blazer. They’ve definitely started leaning into neutrals more in this season.

Season 6

Taking a 180-degree turn from their last promo shoot, the Kardashian-Jenners wore all-white ensembles to promote their sixth season. We can’t help but notice Kourtney’s matching red lip and shoe combo.

Season 7

While their outfits perfectly match the modern minimalist backdrop, the Kardashian-Jenners added their own unique touch to each of their looks. Notice how all their shoes are different colors—with vibrant pinks and reds and subtle blues.

Season 8

This promo shot screams summer, and we love the laid-back vibe of each of their outfits. While they’re all style icons in their own right, they still know how to keep their looks fun and casual.

Season 9

Nothing says extra more than wearing designer gowns at the beach—each of which is a timeless piece. The Jenner sisters, in their late teens here, are also starting to come into their own and recognize that they too are becoming style icons.

Season 10

When we think of the word “body-con,” we think of Kim Kardashian, and our eyes immediately go to her in this stunning promo photo. Kim is known for embracing her curves, and this white dress is both sexy and timeless.

Season 11

Although their faces are the main focal points for this promo, we can’t help but notice Kendall and Kylie’s style get a huge upgrade. Kendall has embraced her career as a model, and Kylie, not the CEO of Kylie Cosmetics, has definitely started dressing the part.

Season 12 and 13

With their on-screen personas fully fleshed out, the Kardashian-Jenners share the spotlight equally in these all-black ensembles. Again, playing with texture is key, and we love how each lady has been their own twist in their all-black garments.

Season 14 and 15

With their roles in the fashion industry cemented, the Kardashian-Jenners had a bit of fun with their season 14 and 15 promo by recreating the opening credits for season 1. Of course, their style is a lot more elevated now, and Kim steals the show in her crystal bodysuit.

Season 16

While the Kardashian-Jenners are known for their neutral ‘fits, we can’t help but obsess over these gilded garments. The shiny fabric, paired with the body-hugging silhouettes, makes this promo shot one of the best ones of the entire show’s run.

Season 17, 18, and 19

Here, we see the Kardashian-Jenners embracing nude tones—something that they’re popular for now, especially since Kim established her shapewear line Skims.

With the final season having premiered last March 19, we can’t help but feel emotional yet excited about the looks they’ll be wearing in the show for their final season. Looking back on their style, it’s clear that the Kardashian-Jenners have definitely made a name for themselves outside of the show and in the fashion industry.
