There's no question that Alex Gonzaga made headlines as a glowing bride in her minimalist yet romantic Rajo Laurel wedding dress, which she wore to her intimate nuptials with now-husband Mikee Morada. But in case you missed it, the very first time we saw the actress donning a wedding gown actually came weeks before that—when she graced the bridal lookbook of fashion designer Joe San Antonio's La Grace collection.
Officially launched on December 16, 2020, Joe's La Grace collection is inspired by the classic bride who is the epitome of grace, elegance, and goodwill. "Alex is the perfect muse because she embodies what the whole collection represents: a timeless and classic bride," explains the designer. "She has always sought out ageless pieces and has a feminine and graceful touch—aligned with the vision of La Grace."
The lookbook, photographed by Oly Ruiz of Metro Photo, was styled by Cath Sobrevega. Gideon Hermosa put together an ethereal all-white setup brimming with gorgeous blooms to highlight the daintiness and delicacy of the gowns, which primarily featured soft French tulle, lace, and intricate hand embroidery.
